What is the Grof Psychedelic Training Academy?

Grof Psychedelic Training Academy is an educational institution specializing in psychedelic therapy training for healthcare professionals and dedicated individuals. Our programs are designed to prepare individuals for certification in Grof® Legacy Psychedelic Therapy, and Grof® Breathwork.

What certifications do you offer?

We offer certifications in Grof® Legacy Psychedelic Therapy, recognized in the field of psychedelic therapy. We also offer certification in Grof® Breathwork.

Are your programs conducted online or in-person?

Our programs feature online learning modules with in-person retreats and workshops, providing a balanced and immersive educational experience.

Can I enrol in any classes that I want without completing the foundation courses?

The foundation courses of The Way of the Psychonaut Volume I and II contain the framework for the more advanced courses, therefore, we require their completion before enrolling in our other course offerings if you plan for certification. We offer Ethics for Psychedelic Therapy and Breathwork, and Spiritual Emergence courses to be taken solely for personal interest.

How long does it take to complete the training?

The duration varies but it takes approximately three years to complete the training and become certified.

Who can enroll in your programs?

Our programs are open to healthcare professionals and individuals committed to becoming certified in psychedelic therapy, and Breathwork facilitators in Canada. We welcome a diverse range of backgrounds and experiences.

How many Zoom classes am I allowed to miss?

Life gets in the way and we understand. You are allowed to miss two classes. If you miss more than two you can sit in on a future class and complete your requirements.

Do you have any payment plans available?

We recognize that payment options are important so we have a variety of ways to pay. One-time payment, equal-monthly payments, and buy-now-and-pay-later plans. Please contact us if you want to discuss any specific needs that have not been mentioned.

I have a full time job, will I have the time to do the course work?

There is on average 2.5 hours per week of reading, viewing videos, and preparation for the Zoom meeting. The Zoom meetings are 2 hours every second week. Many if not all of our students have full-time commitments.

I have previously taken Grof® Legacy courses with another organization. Will I be given credit for my work?

Yes, we can give credit for coursework in Grof Psychedelic or Breathwork-specific training programs as authorized by Grof® Legacy Training International.
